- Ensure you understand all vocab and phrases on p4 “La télé et moi” in order to be able to talk about and give opinions on TV programmes. Use an online dictionary (e.g. wordreference.com) to look up any unknown words - make a note and learn any new vocab (you could make flashcards if you prefer). Write a paragraph using the writing template on p4.
- On p5, read the statements in the grid to find out about people’s hobbies and interests, then match them up to the correct TV programme from the list at the top of the page. - Do the Dingbats code word puzzle “Qu’est-ce que tu aimes à la télé?” on p6-7. Then write your own sentences (not in Dingbats though!) in French on one side of the domino and the English translation on the next domino. There is a blank dominoes template with a clear explanation below. Try to be creative and write using some of the more complex vocabulary you have been learning. Follow the instructions on the dominoes template, remember your French and English phrases need to be on separate dominoes and lead on from each other to form a “ring”. E.g. Start:French1 → English1:French2→ E2:F3-->E3:F4-->E4:F5 etc - Ensure speaking questions on Leisure have been completed and that you are starting to learn them.
