Year 9 Trilogy - New module
1. New heading in big bold writing - B4 Bioenergetics. We have now moved from chemistry to biology. We will be looking at plants, photosynthesis, respiration, response to exercise and metabolism (the liver).
2. Work your way through the powerpoint, completing all tasks, watching all videos and answering questions. There are options in this powerpoint, you will be choosing tasks based on how confident you are. Red, Amber and green options and chill tasks. There are also a couple of slides for higher tier only. 9S2 & 9S3 you must do these tasks. 9S4, 9S5 & 9S6 you can do them if you wish.
3. Ensure you self assess all your work.
4. Complete the seneca learning section B4 on photosynthesis. (It is not an assignment you will need to select it and start learning).

How Plants Use Glucose
1. Thank you to those who completed the mini quiz and returned it to me. I have marked them and sent you feedback. This week there are two powerpoints.
2. All year 9 trilogy students need to work their way through the powerpoint on 'How plants use glucose'. Complete all tasks, watch all videos, answer questions and then self assess your work.
3. 9S2 & 9S3 you must also complete tasks and work your way through the powerpoint on 'Making the most of photosynthesis'. (Optional for 9S4, 9S5 & 9S6). This is about using technology and greenhouses to grow plants all the time. It includes designing your own greenhouse.
